Initial on site consultation costs $50.00 (a user pays call out fee). Should you decide to continue, this will be deducted from the design fee.

Concept Plan
I can provide a full scale working concept plan in colour with notes on design features and plant combinations. This work would be charged out at an hourly rate of $75.00*.

Planting Plan
I can provide a plan showing graphically the exact location of all plants referenced to a planting schedule. Alternatively, I can compile a list of plants and place on site ready for planting by either myself or contractors. This work would be charged out at an hourly rate of $75.00*. Should you require, I can also source and supply all plants.

Working Drawings
These include construction details, specifications for contractors to implement the design and any other services such as lighting, irrigation, etc. Prices vary for each individual job. Work is charged out at an hourly rate of $50.00*.

Tendering and Implementation
If you did not wish to implement the design yourself, this could be tendered out to various sub-contractors and the construction supervised on your behalf. By regularly being on site and administering the complete project, I can ensure all construction aspects, design details and financial approvals are carefully monitored - thereby avoiding costly mistakes. This work would be carried out on an hourly rate of $50.00* or alternatively, as a percentage fee (usually in the vicinity of 2.5-3.5% for the overall project). Fees would be payable as progress claims made immediately at the end of each stage of work.

Expenses to be Reimbursed

The following is a guideline to expenses that would be reimbursed:

• Communication costs eg. mobile phone calls and toll calls


• Additional printing and photocopying fees (this does not include the initial draft or final plans)


• Travel expenses outside of the Auckland area
